DETERMINED Victor Moses insists Chelsea’s dreams of retaining their Champions League crown are very much alive.

Moses produced late heroics on Wednesday night against Shakhtar Donetsk to keep the Blues’ hopes alive in the competition that they won dramatically in Munich last May.

The crucial 3-2 victory over Shakhtar leaves Chelsea with two final Group E clashes against Juventus and bottom-of-the-table Nodsjaelland  to clinch qualification.

Roberto Di Matteo’s men travel to Turin a week on Tuesday knowing a point will be enough if they can win at home a fortnight later against the Danes.

But Moses has set his sights on a victory in Italy as Chelsea look to avoid more nail-shredding moments like his last gasp winner in midweek.

“We're delighted with the three points,” said the Nigerian after his header clinched victory. “That was my first Champions League goal, and I'm delighted with it.

“It was a vital goal, not just me, but other players as well. Everyone has been working hard for the past few weeks. It was good to get a win.

“We've got Juventus coming up - it's not going to be an easy game. But we need to go there with 100 per cent trying make sure we get the three points out there as well.”

There is the small matter of Liverpool in the Premier League to contend with first and having lost top-spot to Manchester United, Moses wants to get back to winning ways.

“Its going to be a great game,” he added. “We're looking forward to it. We just need to get our heads back together now and make sure we get the three points on Sunday.”
