QPR striker Kevin Doyle has been sent to see a specialist to try and solve an ongoing knee problem.

The on-loan Wolves man suffered ligament damage in the win at Birmingham earlier this month and hasn't featured since.

Doyle returned to training this week, only to suffer a setback, and will visit a specialist this morning.

Boss Harry Redknapp said: "We don't don't know [how long he will be out]. He came back training this week but didn't feel so great. We hope it's not too bad."
