HAVING his £3million salary slashed as a result of QPR’s relegation is no big deal to Harry Redknapp.
The Hoops boss (pic) reckons he’s already a dead ringer for the Loadsamoney Harry Enfield character in the 80s after lucrative pay deals at a host of clubs since he first picked up managerial reins at Bournemouth 30 years ago.
Instead, the plan is to avoid the golf course and slippers at home for as long as possible by returning Rangers to the Premier League at the first attempt.
He said: “Fans have been good to me and treated me well here at QPR.
“Money’s not an issue. I go to work because I enjoy it and would like to build a team.
“I’ve got too much money to worry about that at my age. If I didn’t have the hunger I’d stay home.
“But the aim is to get promotion next season. I don’t want to have to hang around four seasons in the Championship.”
