Millwall manager Neil Harris has bemoaned the decision to send off Lee Gregory, calling it “really harsh”.

Gregory was sent off for a late challenge on QPR midfielder Josh Scowen near the end of the first half, a decision which Harris was not happy about.

He said: “I thought it was really harsh. In a London derby there were tackles flying in. It was 50/50 and both players were diving in for the ball.

I thought it was a rash decision by the referee and we’ll certainly be appealing it.

“It changed the game because we were on top. We bossed it for the first 45 minutes.”

The decision didn’t detract from his side’s performance though, with Harris calling it “a great point”.
