Dean Adaway bagged a brace as Hillingdon reclaimed leadership of the Premier Division on Saturday with a 4-2 win over nearest rivals LPOSSA.

Sean Brittain and Leon Sparks also netted for Hillingdon, while a Marcus Gibbs-Greenidge double was not enough for their Sudbury-based visitors, opening up a four-point lead at the top.

In the same division, Wayne Harvey and Jeff Kalejaiye struck to earn British Airways a 2-2 draw at CB Hounslow United Reserves, for whom Kyreece Smith Reid and L Gilbert replied, and Jas Sangha scored as Indian Gymkhana drew 1-1 at South Kilburn.

George Mariner earned Kensington Dragons a 1-1 draw with FC Deportivo Galicia, while bottom side AFC Hayes Reserves lost 7-3 at Sporting Hackney, despite a Gibson Pasma double and a T Callister strike.

Meanwhile, skipper Shaun Andrews was in a philosophical mood after Hounslow Wanderers suffered their second defeat in as many games.

Hounslow contributed to their own downfall as they lost 3-1 at Imperial College Old Boys in Division One (West),and Andrews said: “We dug our own grave, but I’m confident we will learn from our mistakes.”

Wanderers started confidently and went ahead through a free kick from Andrews, but the writing was on the wall once their injured keeper has to be replaced by Yinka Ojedele.

In the same division, New Hanford went top after hosts Heston Bombers conceded the game, while Wembley Park kept up the pressure with a 5-2 win at AFC LT, and Hillingdon Abbots edged past Brentham 3-2.

Pitshanger Dynamo also eased to a 2-0 win over Bedfont Sports Reserves , while Kodak (Harrow) were 3-1 winners at Southall United.

In Division Two, Lampton Park made it two wins out of two and went top with a 6-1 hammering of Edmonton Rangers, with two goals from Jamie Deville and one each from Mustafa Al Ukaidey, Fizzy Mir, Scott Redman and G Aklukh, but Cranford Park lost 3-2 at Victoria.

Tokyngton Manor were 3-0 winners as Harrow-based Amu, while Notting Hill-based Lancaster lost 2-0 at Hilltop. Hanwell's Larkspur Rovers were awarded their game at Eagles United, while South Acton conceded their home game against Hale Rangers.
