Alan McCormack is so confident in Brentford's midfielders that he doesn't expect to be moved back there tomorrow.

The Bees will be without League One player of the year Adam Forshaw when they host Preston at Griffin Park following his sending off for two yellow cards at Swindon last weekend.

One option for boss Mark Warburton is moving McCormack into the middle, as he has done before, and bringing in Nico Yennaris at right back.

But McCormack expects either Toumani Diagouraga or Jake Reeves to plug the gap in the middle, and reckons neither would let the side down.

He said: "Adam will be a miss, but we've got plenty of options in there, and good options too. I don't expect to playing there, although I'm happy to play wherever I'm needed.

"Toums has done a great job since he game back from Portsmouth, and Jake Reeves - what a talent he is! He is just one of a great bunch of young players we have here.

"Nobody will shirk away from it. They won't shy away from the challenge. We will be fine."
