JUAN Mata says Chelsea have got their blip out of the way, putting them at an advantage over other teams which are yet to experience a poor run of results.

The Spaniard, who scored one and set-up two goals in Blues' 3-0 weekend win over Wolves, said with the team back on winning ways they can now concentrate on qualifying for the next round of the Champions League.

He said: “Every team will go through a spell like this during a season, not just us.

"There are so many games, some will go better than others, and you will have good bits and bad bits. We have ended our bad period with this 3-0 win and now we have to keep winning.

“The two weeks that are coming are vital. We have to make sure we qualify in the Champions League and also use the league games to get closer to Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. This result means we can face those games with confidence.”

Asked if he was enjoying the start of his career with Chelsea, he said: “Yes, really good. I really like it.

"I am really happy here: with every game I play at Stamford Bridge I enjoy it even more, I feel more part of the team, and away from home as well. I hope to keep playing and keep improving.”
