Chelsea’s new home kit has come in for criticism following today’s official launch at the club’s Cobham training ground.
It features a watermarked lion pattern on the front of the shirt and Adidas’ trademark three stripes emblazoned down both sides.
But some supporters are not happy with the design and have been shocked by the price of the products.
Chelsea’s adizero home shirt will be priced at £90 and that number will rise to nearly £107 if you want to add your hero’s name and number and a Premier League badge.
To complete the strip with the new edition of the club’s matchday shorts and socks, fans are looking at paying close to £150 to wear full club colours.
The Stamford Bridge faithful have voiced their disgust at the pricing and it seems not everyone is satisfied with the design either, claiming it resembles pyjamas.
Not everyone hates it though and there were some positive remarks, particularly about the incorporation of the Adidas stripes.
