Impressed: Ojo

He's come from a club once renowned for playing the best football in the country – but Fulham's style of play has caught Sheyi Ojo's eye.

The England U21 international winger signed for Fulham on a season-long loan in the summer and has so far played four games for the Whites.

Other clubs were intereted in the 20 year old, who has also had spells with Wigan and Wolves, but he had eyes on for Craven Cottage.

“After not playing last season, the main thing for me was to get a consistent opportunity to play,” Ojo says in tomorrow’s matchday programme for the home game with Middlesbrough.

“In my opinion, Fulham play the best football in the division. That will only help me to develop as a player.

“It wasn’t about playing in the Premier League, it was just about playing in a team that suits me and is heading in the right direction and I felt that was Fulham.”
