Brentford's new stadium could be ready in four years, says Mike Power.
The former London 2012 bid chief was this week unveiled as a non-executive director on the board of Brentford FC (Lionel Road) Ltd, the firm behind the development of the proposed venue.
And 60-year-old Power believes the 20,000 seat stadium could help catapult the Bees into the Championship.
He also reckons his experience with the Olympics bid will help the club overcome obstacles like planning permission and transport concerns.
The Hounslow-born Power has been a Brentford fan for almost 50 years, after attending his first game at Griffin Park when he was 11.
