Brentford full back Callum Elder had a unique view of Leicester City's incredible title triumph but he is now only focused on the Bees.

The 21-year-old was on the treatment table after rupturing his foot when on loan at Peterborough and got an inside view on the Foxes' remarkable run.

But all that is now behind him as he is fully focused on what lies ahead at Griffin Park.

Elder said: “It was amazing what happened. We're only a month into the season but it feels like it was ages ago. It was incredible.

“It was such a unified group of players and staff. It wasn't far away and it was getting close. I'm hoping they can build on last season.

“Personally, my focus is at Brentford and it's something that I'm putting all my focus in to achieve the best for myself and club.”

He added: “I have to consider myself a Brentford player, not a Leicester one. I've got to look at what we can achieve. Yes, I'm a Leicester player but the focus is Brentford.”
