KIERON Dyer is due to return to full training this morning as he steps up his recovery from a foot injury.

The QPR star has been sidelined for more than three months after suffering ligament damage just minutes into his debut against Bolton back in August.

But the 32-year-old is back in light training, and is expected to resume full sessions with the rest of his team-mates by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, Matt Connolly is also closing in on a return to action.

The defender has been dogged by an ankle problem, but is back in full training at Harlington.

However, the pair will be given a run-out for the reserves next week before being considered for a first-team place.
