PAJTIM Kasami has established himself a key player for Fulham.

So says boss Martin Jol, who was considering sending the Swiss midfielder on loan again earlier this summer.

However, the talented 21-year-old forced his way into Jol's plans with the winning goal in the Premier League opener at Sunderland and has featured in four of their five games so far.

Jol wants to loan out more of his young guns, but insists Kasami is staying at Craven Cottage.

He said: “Kasami was on the fringes. He was another one who wanted to play. He played for Lucerne and made big steps.

“He scored his first goals for the Under-21s last week and played for us against Sunderland.

“He's better than he was before; stronger and one of our key players this season.”
