Chelsea results this season may not have been what the club had hoped for, but how does Jose Mourinho's recent form compare to other Premier League managers to have lost their jobs?
Mourinho averaged 1.7 points per game in his last six matches in charge of Chelsea in all competitions.
That's the same points per game ratio as Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea), Roberto Mancini (Manchester City), Harry Redknapp (Tottenham) and Rafa Benitez (Liverpool).
However, there are six Premier League managers to have either been sacked or left by mutual consent since the start of the 2009-10 campaign who had better points per game ratios from their last six games than Mourinho.
Nigel Pearson averaged 2.2 per match in his last six games as Leicester City boss. So did Tim Sherwood and Andre Villas Boas after their spells at Tottenham.
Tony Pulis averaged 1.8 points per game in his last six matches in charge of Crystal Palace, as did Gerrard Houllier at Aston Villa and Mark Hughes at Manchester City.
Other Chelsea managers didn't fare as well as Mourinho though.
Roberto Di Matteo averaged a point a game in his last six matches as Chelsea boss, while Andre Villas Boas averaged 0.8 per game.
Were Chelsea right to sack Mourinho?
