MARTIN Jol is confident Bryan Ruiz will be fit for Fulham's crunch clash with Cardiff City at the weekend.
The Costa Rica star hasn't featured since suffering an ankle injury against West Brom earlier this month.
Ruiz missed Saturday's derby defeat at Chelsea and was left out of the squad for last night's Capital One Cup win against Everton after Jol decided not to risk him.
But the Dutchman hopes the 28-year-old will be ready to face the Bluebirds as Fulham look for their first Premier League victory since the opening day of the season.
“It was a risk to involve him, that's why I played Kasami," he said.
“ Kieran Richardson was rested and Aaron Hughes wasn't 100 per cent fit.”
