QPR's Joel Lynch says that he feels more comfortable in the middle of a defensive trio as the Hoops prepare for Bolton test.

The former Huddersfield man played in between Alex Baptiste and Jake Bidwell in the draw against Sunderland, a position which Lynch says plays to his strengths.

Speaking to GetWestLondon, he said: "Against Sunderland I really enjoyed being in the middle of the three central defenders, it felt a lot easier for me because I’m a bit of an old school centre half.

Bolton Wanderers vs QPR: Following the draw with Sunderland and the under-23s win over Charlton, what changes would you make to the Hoops XI?

"If i’m put on the left or right side you’ve got a lot more running against wingers which is a lot harder.

"The way Bidwell and Baptiste dealt with the two strikers meant I just had to cover for them, and it felt solid. They only had one chance and managed to score with a good finish, but the set up felt good and I think we deserved more."
