Joao Teixeira has all the attributes to be a success at Liverpool, according to Brentford boss Mark Warburton.

The Portuguese ace had a stint on loan at Griffin Park last season, but featured just twice off the bench before being called back to Anfield.

However, Teixeira, who made his Liverpool debut as a substitute at Fulham last season, has scored twice in three starts since joining Brighton last month.

And Warburton is wary of the threat posed by the talented 21-year-old ahead of tomorrow's clash with the Seagulls.

He said: "Joao is a very talented boy. It's a year on from when we had him and he's impacting at Championship level.

"He can dominate games and has the ability to unlock defences, which is being proven now.

"He has that randomness about him. He likes to find pockets of space and has everything he needs to get to the highest level.

"Liverpool are one of the best teams in the world with some of the best players, but Joao is very talented. Hopefully after Saturday he can show what he can do."
