Shoots & Leaves boss Gerry Rockett made Merton Eagles eat their words after his side won their replayed Ron Halfacre Cup tie on Sunday.
Rockett's men lost the tie last week, but league officials scrubbed the result after Merton broke a string of rules. Merton posted four-lettered tirades aimed at Rockett's side on their website, but Marvin West's double and Bart Sliwa's effort meant they had the last laugh as they won 3-1.
Rockett said: "They were slating us on their website. But we rammed the words down their throat."
David Andrews' double booked RBL Fulham a quarter-final clash with West London Select after victory over Albo Fantasy. Man-of-the-match Ashley
Williams scored their other. Elsewhere, Goals from Limo Mann and Patrick Nash helped Chelsea Town got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory at AFC Parkside in the Senior Amateur Division. But Godfrey Collins' Senior Amateur Reserve basementboys Kensington Athletic were out of luck as they went down 5-0 to table-toppers AFC Machico.
Sloppy defending meant they were three behind at the break, and the hosts added two more to complete a comfortable win.
In the Bert Gaby Challenge Cup, Jamie Titford fired a hat-trick as Razors cruised through against Valtaro Wasteels B.
James Woodburn and Dean Christopher were also on their mark in the 5-2 win.
