Chris Iwelumo says that QPR manager Ian Holloway's job is under pressure, but feels that the club's players are still on his side.

The Hoops fell to a 3-1 defeat at home to Leeds United at Loftus Road, and Iwelumo said that the R's need to utilise the loan market to strengthen their attack.

Speaking on Football on 5 about the need to sign a striker, he said: "It’s a difficult one. He does need to use the loan market and he does need a striker to come in, but they showed in the first half that they had quality.

"They created chances but weren’t clinical enough. To get into that final third and that’s where the quality let them down.

"He is under pressure, but he’s been here and done it, he’s experienced and I’m sure the players are playing for him, definitely."
