Ian Holloway has hailed the talent of young forward Ebere Eze, and has tipped him to lead the QPR front-line with Bright Osayi-Samuel in the future.

The manager was asked about the prospect of Eze at the QPR Fans' Forum, who is currently flying on loan with Wycombe Wanderers under the leadership of Gareth Ainsworth, and Holloway says that picking up the young forward was something of a coup.

He said: "He's only 18, he was let go by Millwall and I think they've made a mistake.

"I think the lad has got to learn what to do without the ball and Gareth (Ainsworth) is very good at helping a young player. I'm really optimistic and I really like his talent.

"Bright Samuel is his best mate, they went to school together and I'm sure one day we'll see both them up front in a front three for us and you'll be absolutely loving it."

QPR's Director of Football Les Ferdinand added: "We've got 33 pros here at the moment including Ebere, and what we need is experience for our players.

"If we can't get them in our first team then we need to get them out on loan. He's doing very well out on loan at the moment and he needs that experience so that when he comes back he can integrate into this team a lot quicker than if he's playing in our first team."
