Ian Holloway has called on his QPR side, particularly his midfield, to start taking their chances as they look to get their first win on the road this season.

The Rs travel to Sunderland tomorrow looking for their first three away points of the season after only taking six points from their last seven matches, a run which included a loss to local rivals Fulham.

QPR have been creating chances in those games but aren't finding a scoring touch just yet, with none of Holloway's strikers finding the golden touch in front of goal.

However, Holloway wants everyone to work on their finishing, especially the midfield, as they look to get back to winning ways at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

He told QPR's official website: "When you miss the chances you’re creating, it puts a lot more pressure on your backline.

"Everyone needs to work on their finishing - even our goalkeeper went forward and headed wide! So I’ve spoken to the lot of them about taking their chances in front of goal.

"In all seriousness, the midfield need to add a few goals. When you haven’t got a 20-goal-a-season striker, you’ve got to spread them around the team.

"At the minute we’re getting in but not taking our chances. I’m sure that will come."
