QPR manager Ian Holloway looks set to have a number of players available for selection as they prepare to face Burton Albion on Saturday.

We take a look at the options at Ollie's disposal ahead of a tough test at the Riverside.

Squad overview

Despite falling to a 3-2 defeat at the Riverside against Middlesbrough, a number of squad players took their opportunities to impress in an injury-hit first team.

The likes of Ryan Manning, Kazenga Lua Lua and David Wheeler all did their first team chances no harm at all, but with a number of absentees expected to be fit for the clash with the Brewers, I'd expect the team to largely revert to type.

Josh Scowen and Conor Washington, who missed out on the defeat to the recently-relegated Teessiders, are both expected to come back into contention, while long-term absentee Jordan Cousins may well make the match day squad after returning to training.

The rest of the squad is expected to be the same as last week, with Nedum Onuoha, Grant Hall, Joel Lynch and James Perch all still side-lined with long-term injuries.

Our prediction

Despite a number of impressive displays last week, I'd expect Ian Holloway to revert to his tried and tested formula against the Brewers.

I'd certainly expect Josh Scowen to return to the first team if fit, while Conor Washington faces tough competition from the in-form Jamie Mackie and Matt Smith.

David Wheeler and Ryan Manning, although impressive against Middlesbrough, will likely settle for a place on the bench.

Predicted XI: Smithies, Furlong, Baptiste, Robinson, Bidwell, Wszolek, Scowen, Luongo, Freeman, Mackie Smith.

Who would you choose?

So with the return of Scowen and Washington, who would you choose to take on Nigel Clough's Burton Albion?
