QPR are sweating on the fitness of both Junior Hoilett and Jermaine Jenas after they hobbled off in the 5-2 win against Nottingham Forest.

Jenas was replaced after just 13 minutes by Karl Henry with Hoilett withdrawn towards the end of the match for Niko Kranjcar. And Bond admitted that both injuries were a concern, but he hoped they weren’t too serious.

He said: “(Jenas) He’s had a bit of a problem with his hamstring and Junior had a bit of tightness there too.

“Games in quick succession have probably taken a bit of a toll on him in particular. As soon as they look like they’re feeling it, you've got to look to take them off if you can.”

After being pegged back twice it looked as though the Rs would have to settle for a point, but a dramatic ending to the game swung the game in Rangers' favour, although Bond admitted he didn’t foresee what was going to happen at the end.

“I didn’t see it being what it was with 10 minutes to go, I’ve got to be honest. We took the lead twice, and both times they pegged us back.

“We’re not the biggest [team] at the moment. We got undone with a couple of corners. That was disappointing and it’s something we shall look at, but we’re delighted with the result today.”
