Chelsea star Eden Hazard reckons team-mate Kevin De Bruyne should leave Stamford Bridge to save his World Cup dream.

The 22-year-old midfielder impressed on loan at Werder Bremen last campaign and was expected to feature heavily under Jose Mourinho after starting against Hull City on the opening day of the season.

Belgian De Bruyne has only featured a handful of times since and has recently been linked with moves to Germany's Bundesliga.

And Hazard reckons his fellow countryman should quit the Blues in search of regular first-team football.

Speaking to newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, he said: "If we want to get the best from Kevin in the future it is better that he leaves.

"If he does not play, it is better for him to leave. Playing a World Cup after having not played for a year... is very difficult."
