Adam Louth has backed Harrow to beat Enfield in the second league tie of their double header tonight.

Saturday’s first clash between the two teams at Earlsmead  finished all square after Harrow, 1-0 up at half time had defender Anthony Maissiat sent off  just after half time in the incident which led to the North Londoners equalising from the spot.

Louth believes his side were in cruise control up until the sending off, so claimed the second clash at Donkey should hold no fears for Dave Anderson’s men

He said: ‘I thought we did well. I mean first half we dominated and if I’m honest I think the referee killed us with the sending off’

Sharing the spoils on Saturday leaves Borough 12 points clear of George Borg's side in the battle to beat the drop, having played three games more.

Consequently, a similar result this evening should ensure Ryman League Premier status for Dave Anderson's men.

While Maissiat is eligible to play at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium as his ban will not take affect for 14 days, Anderson is without favourable Louth whose red card at Wealdstone just over a fortnight ago rules him out.

It means he will have to fret from the side-lines, but he is confident there will not be too much fingernail chewing in the stands.

He added: “Obviously I’m disappointed not to be there, but I think the squad’s good now so I’m confident we can get the three points.”
