Brentford FC boss Andy Scott this week made two new season-long signings - as predicted by the Chronicle.

Last week, we revealed that Scott had the two signings - a centre-back plus the return of keeper Ben Hamer -  in the bag, but they would not be unveiled until the end of the month.

However, following our story, the Bees released the news early and today confirmed the signing of Hamer, as well as Spurs centre-back Leigh Mills.

Hamer spent much of last season on loan at Griffin Park, while England U19 and U20 defender Mills was an unused sub in a UEFA cup tie for Spurs last term.
