Chelsea have sent more players to represent England at major tournaments than almost any other club.

Gary Cahill is the Blues’ only representative Roy Hodgson’s final 23-man squad for the upcoming tournament in France. The video above illustrates why he is a worthy choice.

That means the club’s English players have been called up 30 times to represent the Three Lions at either a World Cup or European Championships.

Only four other clubs have had players called up more often.

Liverpool’s players have been called up most often - 63 times.

That puts them just ahead of their age-old rivals Manchester United whose players have been called up 62 times.

Tottenham will also have five players going to France with England this summer taking their total call ups to 51.

Arsenal have had players called up 34 times, just ahead of Chelsea.

Number of times a these clubs' players were in an England tournament squad:

Liverpool: 63; Manchester United: 62; Tottenham Hotspur: 51; Arsenal: 34; CHELSEA 30; Everton: 28; West Ham: 20; Manchester City: 20; Leeds: 17; Nottingham Forest: 14; Wolverhampton Wanderers: 14
