Jack Grimmer has signed a new Fulham contract.

The Whites full-back has put pen to paper on a new deal until the summer of 2017.

He said: “I’m delighted. It’s been something that’s been on the way for a while and I’m very happy to get it signed and look towards the future.

“You look around the changing room and there are some players that I’ve played with all through my time here.

“It’s a great thing that the young players are committing their futures to the club.

“We have the enthusiasm and ability and the experience will come with games.

“My pace as a full-back is one of my strengths. I would like to get better on the ball but I think that’s the same for most players. Everyone is going in the direction.”

Grimmer arrived at Craven Cottage in January 2012 having started his career at Aberdeen.

The enthusiastic Scot has made 21 appearances for the Whites this term but hasn’t featured since the 3-1 loss at Bolton early last month.
