Premier League scouts from clubs such as Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Swansea and West Ham are expected to attend the Scotland v England match this afternoon as they run the rule over mdifielder Tom Cairney.

The 26-year-old has been widely tipped with a move to the top flight after an impressive season at Fulham, which saw the club reach the semi-finals of the Championship play-offs.

Cairney contributed 13 goals and 12 assists for the Craven Cottage club who will be looking to challenge for promotion once again next season.

The Nottingham-born midfielder made his international debut for Scotland in March this year in their 1-1 home draw against Canada.
