Fulham are on the verge of joining Huddersfield in the play-offs with two games left in the season.

The Whites currently sit in the sixth and final place and face west London rivals Brentford and fifth placed side Sheffield Wednesday in their remaining games.

They are three points ahead of seventh placed Leeds United, who have suffered a recent blip in form to drop out of the top six.

The Yorkshire side face eighth placed Norwich before facing a Wigan side, who are likely to have been relegated before the final day.

Crucially, the Whites' goal difference of +27 is much higher than Leeds' +14, which will be worth an extra point to them.

In order for Fulham to finish in the top six, all they have to do is match, or better, Leeds' result given their vastly superior goal difference.

Victory for the Whites at home to west London rivals Brentford will secure a top six berth, whatever the Yorkshire side do against their East Anglia opponents.

If Leeds lose at home to a resurgent Norwich City, who are on a good run of form, although too late to challenge the top six, that will be good enough for Fulham to book their spot in the end of season showdown whatever the result.
