Denis Odoi reckons he has his priorities in order.

First, he wants to make a success of the right-back spot for Fulham, and then maybe, maybe - he might look back across the Channel for another international chance with Belgium.

The man bought from Lokeren in the summer already has one cap for his country with Flemish fans and pundits claiming he deserves more.

But the 28-year-old year-old admits he has a task on his hand to usurp the 12 Premier League players who helped their country beat Bosnia 4-0 on Friday, and who face minnows Gibraltar tonight in Belgium's second World Cup qualifer of the international break.

Spurred on: Toby Alderweireld (R)

Ahead of him in the pecking order is Paris St Germain’s Thomas Meunier, and Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld, who as a central defender can also play right back.

Odoi said: “If you look at the squad Belgium has got it is all Premier League players or players who are playing in big teams in Europe so I’m not focused about that.

“I’m focusing on Fulham and trying to play as many games for Fulham and to do as good as I can.

“If it comes it comes, if it doesn’t come - that’s life.

“I’m not going to cry about it. I’m focused on Fulham and life goes on.”
