Neeskens Kebano is far from alone in England.

Even though the winger swapped Genk in Belgium for Fulham when he signed for Whites in the summer, he has a pile of pals on this side of the Channel with whom he maintains contact.

The man named after Dutch legend Johan Neeskens revealed it was some years before he even knew who the man was scoring the first goal for Holland in the 1974 World Cup football.

Pal: Jacques Maghoma

But Kebano was certainly able to rattle off a list of household names in the Premier League and Championship he's proud to call friend.

"Let's see," he said, "there's Yaha Sanogo at Arsenal, Jacques Maghoma at Birmingham, and Benik Afobe at Bournemouth - and quite a few more besides."

The French born player declared for Congo to earn eight caps so far, which is how he knows Maghoma, an international team-mate.

Coveted striker Afobe at Bournemouth has also played for Congo in the African Cup of Nations, and Sanogo is a mate from back home in France.

Kebano, was joined in the summer at Fulham by the likes of Chris Martin, Jozabed Sanchez and Stefan Johansen - all pictured below.

Kebano will call on himself and team-mates to get back to winning ways at Nottingham Forest, after the gutting disappointment of a 4-0 hiding by Bristol City on Saturday.

The Whites winger was subbed off after 65 minutes to add to his nine appearances so far.
