FULHAM are sweating on the fitness of star striker Dimitar Berbatov ahead of Saturday's west London derby with Chelsea.

FULHAM are sweating on the fitness of star striker Dimitar Berbatov ahead of Saturday's west London derby with Chelsea.

The Bulgarian international limped out of last weekend's draw against West Brom with a hamstring injury and is rated at 50/50 to be ready in time for the Stamford Bridge clash.

Boss Martin Jol is boosted by the return of Darren Bent after he recovered from a hamstring problem that kept him out against the Baggies.

Bryan Ruiz's ankle injury isn't as bad as first feared but faces another week on the sidelines.

Aaron Hughes (thigh) and Maarten Stekelenburg (shoulder) have failed to recover in time, while Matthew Briggs has been ruled out for at least three weeks after having a hernia op.
