Luke Garbutt will get a chance to repair the damage of a poor performance when he steps out for Fulham against Charlton tomorrow.

The Everton loanee fronted up over damage done during a 3-0 defeat to Blackburn on Tuesday that saw him hauled after just 34 minutes.

The left-sided player took to Twitter to profess both apology and promise to do better - and will get that opportunity in a vital relegation clash against the Addicks at Craven Cottage.

Boss Slavisa Jokanovic saw no problem with the Tweet, and reminded everyone Garbutt's wasn't the only lack-lustre showing at Ewood Park.

He said: "Luke didn’t play a good game, and no one else did.

"He made many good games in the last month and a half. He’s going to play tomorrow – and he’s going to back himself, and more importantly back at the level.

"(As regards the tweet) I try to be honest too. It’s acceptable to play a bad football game and now he can repair some of the problems."
