Fulham's Adam Taggart is in the wars again.

The Australian World Cup striker was supposed to have finally made his first-team debut this month after suffering six months of groin problems that also needed surgery.

But despite a run-out with the reserves in December, the 21-year-old has met with more bad fortune.

“It’s not a setback as such, but strength wise Adam’s left side has shown to be not as strong as his right. So it was worth taking him out of training to strengthen that up,” manager Kit Symons explained.

“And hopefully, because he’s missed so much football, when he’s fully fit, we’ll look for a loan opportunity to get him back playing games.”
