FULHAM frontman Diomansy Kamara has cleared the decks for a permanent move to Parkhead.

The on-loan Celtic striker helped the club cement their place in next season's Champions League with the opener in Sunday's victory over Dundee United.

And the Senegalese international is desperate to stay north of the border to play a part in their European campaign.

He said: "In my mind right now, though, if I get the opportunity to stay with Celtic I would do that.

"I have a good feeling here. I was a little bit unlucky with my hamstring but thankfully I'm back playing again.

"Celtic are a massive club so I've got a lot of respect for them. I was a little bit sad when Tony Mowbray left because he brought me here and I had a good rapport with him.

"But Celtic are bigger than players and coaches and I want to stay if I can get a deal with Celtic."
