Ryan Sessegnon was named as the top 16-year-old in Europe and came in 26th in Europe's top 30 players in the under-20 category by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, polling above Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard.
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, aged 19, was fourth on the list with fellow 19-year-old Ousmane Dembele ranked number one.
Sessegnon, who will sign a professional contract at Fulham when he turns 17 on May 18, was the only 16-year-old named on the list compiled by the Italian newspaper.
Leading teenager Dembele earned top spot after thriving at Borussia Dortmund following an incredible season at Ligue 1 Rennes.
Gianluigi Donnarumma, at just 17, cemented himself as AC Milan's first choice goalkeeper over the last two seasons and has already earned two caps for Italy. He has been tipped to become the next Gianluigi Buffon.
Euro 2016 hero Renato Sanches rounds off the podium and he has been in fine form for Bayern Munich.
Rashford's wonderful 2016 sees him ranked fourth with Kylian Mbappe, who impressed against Manchester City earlier this week, ranked fifth.
Everton's 18-year-old midfielder Tom Davies came in at 28th, two places behind the Fulham wonderkid.
