Fulham are unwilling to part with Tom Cairney this summer with reports suggesting the London team are warning interested clubs that a fee of at least £20 million will be required for the former Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers man.

Cairney joined Fulham from Blackburn in June 2015 for an undisclosed fee and made 42 appearances, scoring eight goals, in his debut season for the Cottagers.

The midfielder has picked up where he left off this season and has so far made 41 appearances, netting nine times.

The 26-year-old's consistency in the Championship earned him his first full cap for Scotland last week in their friendly draw against Canada.

However, it isn't just Scotland boss Gordon Strachan who is an admirer of Cairney, with several Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested in the Nottingham-born player.

But according to reports from Scotland , Fulham are not entertaining any bids for the midfielder and are rebuffing interest with a remarkable £20m price tag.
