Kostas Mitroglou is in line to make his Fulham debut at West Brom on Saturday.

The £11million January arrival from Olympiakos is yet to feature for the Cottagers first team as he battles to overcome a niggling knee problem.

However, the Greek striker scored twice for the U21s against Aston Villa last week, including a 25-yard screamer in the 5-3 win.

And the 25-year-old took another step towards full fitness after playing 90 minutes for the development side in last night's 3-1 defeat against Leicester City.

Mitroglou could start at The Hawthorns on Saturday as new manager Felix Magath looks to hit the ground running against the Baggies.

Meanwhile, Matthew Briggs made his long-awaited return from injury with 45 minutes for the U21s against the Foxes.

The 22-year-old defender hasn't played for the first team since August after struggling to overcome a hernia problem.
