MARK Schwarzer insists Fulham's run to the Europa League final has proved the doom merchants wrong.
The Whites have been written off throughout the campaign, but have overcome UEFA Cup holders Shakthar Donetsk, Juventus, Wolfburg and Hamburg on their way to the final with Atletico Madrid on May 12.
“I don't think anyone would have thought Fulham would be where they are today but it just goes to show that anything's possible," said Schwarzer.
“People kept writing us off. After last week a lot of the so-called German experts wrote us off and said we weren't any good and that Hamburg only had to come here and play decent football and they were going to beat us.
“We conceded a good free-kick and it knocked the stuffing out of us a little bit and all of us were thinking maybe it was not going to be our night, but you play your way back into the game and get your belief again."
