Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon played a starring role as England reached the UEFA U19 European Championship semi-finals after a 4-1 victory over Germany.

Sessegon, and Nottingham Forest's Ben Brereton both grabbed a second half double as the Three Lions roared into the competitions final four.

The 4-1 win sets up a meeting with Czech Republic in the last four on Wednesday evening and sent Germany home in the process.

Chelsea starlet Mason Mount also played a starring role in the victory, supplying three assists for his team-mates and enhancing his reputation as one of the country's hottest prospects.

It wasn't all plain sailing for England however, who lost both Trevoh Chalobah and Andre Dozzell to injury inside the first 15 minutes.

However after overcoming this early anxiety, England clicked into gear with Sessegnon and Brereton putting the game beyond doubt and giving England a chance to improve on what has already been a remarkable summer for the various Three Lions' sides who've been in action.
