Back to his dynamic best, mesmerising defenders with his dribbling ability and taking them on both inside and out.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic said: “I am very happy for Sone getting this award as he has worked hard for the team over the past months, so it is a good reward for him.
"We have seen an improvement to our results of late, so it is also a reflection on the whole team, and I want that hard work to continue so that many of my players will be eligible for this award in future months.”
Aluko said: “Personally it’s a great feeling to be recognised with this award. It’s a nice feeling to be publically rewarded for your efforts.
“Ultimately, I think it’s a team award. I wouldn’t get this award if the team weren’t winning and it’s a credit to my teammates and all the staff who have provided me with a platform to play well on.
“The results have gone our way recently and because of this I’ve been able to show my best form.”
Jokanovic is not the only one at Craven Cottage to admire Aluko.
Striker Cauley Woodrow was equally pleased for his team-mate.
"Chris and Sone have been around a long time. Sone has played in the Premier League. Chris has scored a lot of goals in this league. I'm young so I'm trying to learn from both of them.
"Sone has been on fire recently with three assists against Huddersfield and scored against Brentford. He's playing really well and I'm pleased for him. He's a good guy and it's good for the club that one of our players have won that award."
Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said: “It’s great to see Sone doing so well under Slavisa Jokanovic at Fulham after he was so unlucky with injuries at Hull.
“He’s clearly a very talented lad and has been a joy to watch in October, taking the game to the opposition, cutting through opposing defences, laying on chance after chance for teammates and scoring goals to boot!”
Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery said: “Left behind in the Championship after his former employers Hull achieved promotion to the Premier League last year Aluko seems to have found a perfect fit with Fulham.
“Playing behind Chris Martin he has excelled, creating chance after chance in a mesmerising display against Huddersfield.
“Having jumped up the table after a poor start, Fulham are back in to 9/1 to be promoted this season, and with Aluko determined to get another crack at the Premier League those odds will continue to tumble if the men from Craven Cottage can keep up their current excellent run of form.”
