Kevin McDonald has revealed he has a sportmans bet with both Ryan Fredericks and Stefan Johansen as he aims to add more goals to his game this season.

The 28-year-old has only scored three goals for Fulham since joining from Wolves, all of those coming last season, although Slavisa Jokanovic utilises the Scotsman in a deeper role that requires to sit in a defensive position for the most part.

However, he's has a few chances this season as he looks to add some goals to the numerous amounts of tackles and duels won in each game he plays, and he's revealed his got a few friendly wagers down with his team mates to add a bit of spice to that target.

McDonald told Fulham's matchday programme: "I think I've done okay, I go under the radar a bit but that's the way I've always been.

"I enjoy my job in the team, I love playing football but I don't mind doing the dirty side of things.

"All in all, I've been happy with my performances.

"A few more goals would be nice but it doesn't seem to be happening yet. I've got a sportsmans bet on with Stefan Johansen on this - he says he'll get to ten before I get to three so I'm under pressure already.

"I've also got a bet on with Ryan Fredericks to see who scores first this season.

"He's trying to claim he scored at QPR but it went down as an owl goal - he can't be having that.

"I've got a chance of beating him but I might be struggling against Stefan."
