Slavisa Jokanovic wants his players to be confident and to believe they can be a Premier League club next season ahead of the play-offs.

Fulham have all but secured their place in the end of season showpiece thanks to their goal difference and only a swing of 13 goals would see Leeds enter instead of the west London club.

They face Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday in the final regular game of the season in what could potentially be a dress rehearsal for the play-offs, with the hosts also secured in the top six.

And before Fulham's trip to Sheffield manager Jokanovic challenged his players to grab this chance because he doesn't know when it might come round again.

He said: "We have a chance to be a Premier League team next season - this is solely why it is important.

"If we don't make this step we are going to stay next season with the other teams who are in the Championship and we are going to try next year.

"What is the best option for us is to be confident and push hard in this four games what is in front of us and grab this chance.

"In life and sport when you have an opportunity and this kind of chance you must be strong, confident and do everything to grab it because the next chance I don't know which moment we will get it again.

"At the end it's not important being in top six because you didn't have opportunity to be in top two and now you are really close to top six I believe we will be after Sunday game its only what is important to make two steps and that is it.

"In this moment I want my players to be confident and believing in possibility to be premier league team next season."
