Fulham feel they have been hard done by a second time over fixture changes.

They were due to be at Blackburn on Saturday, but Rovers fourth round FA Cup tie at Oxford United scuppered that.

Instead, the Football League determined the match at Ewood Park was shifted to February 16 - a Tuesday.

Whites wanted to play it as early as next week, and avoid twiddling their thumbs to put right Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Hull.

Back in September, they were the west London club that drew the short straw when police decided something had to give with QPR scheduled at home as well as Chelsea in a Champions League fixture on a Wednesday.

The club lost more than £100,000 in pre-game preparation against Wolves that was binned because of the late switch at Stamford Bridge.

Ironically, the team Chelsea faced on that September night was Maccabi Tel Aviv - managed at the time by new Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic.

The gaffer admitted he would have liked the Rovers game as soon as.

"I prefer the game to be earlier but it’s not possible for us – and that’s that," he said. "So we have to use this time as best we can to prepare for Derby."
