It's that time of the week again as we host our weekly lunchtime Fulham webchat.

It's been quite a busy week with Fulham news, with Slavisa Jokanovic , Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon on the agenda once again.

We still await news of the club's pre-season fixtures, while we find out the Carabao Cup opponents this week, while the fixtures are announced next Wednesday.

However you're feeling about the close season, here's your chance to join the debate with other Fulham fans and ask your questions about the coming season, transfers, or to just have a general rant.

Reporter Ryan O'Donovan will be hosting the webchat between 12pm and 1pm and you can get your questions in now.

Doing so is simple, just use the form below to get your questions in and we'll do our best to answer them.

Thanks for chatting!

That’s it for this week - thanks for popping by!

I’ll be back once again next week, with hopefully some pre-season fixtures having been announced.

Bye-bye!

Last question: Who do you want in the first game?

And finally, Dom asks “who do you want in thew first game of the season?”

What a nice (and easy) question for me to end on.

I’d like any team at the Cottage in the first game, preferably someone who finished mid-table last season because no-one knows how the relegated teams will do, while the promoted teams will want to stamp their mark on the league.

A nice game at home first will get things started and ticking over, which will suit me nicely.”

What kind of transfer budget with Slavisa have?

Josh has written in and asked: “What transfer budget will Slavisa be given in the next window?”

Fulham have received their last parachute payment so can’t afford to spend gung-ho this summer.

Financial Fair Play also plays a part and the club will be constrained in part by that and may need to sell players in order to fund new ones coming in.

That said, the club aren’t poor by any stretch of the imagination, although Tony Khan wants the club to be clever in the market, without spending millions on new players.

It will be a decent budget though.”

Will the club return to America for pre-season?

Olin McArthur has asked two questions: “1. Any idea when Fulham will travel back to the US for a preseason? 2. Any update on whether the club will provide live streaming video service of matches for international supporters?”

Thanks for your questions - they probably won’t travel back there this year for pre-season I’m afraid, but with such close links with the Jacksonville Jaguars it wouldn’t surprise me to see them back out there before long.

Secondly, the club haven’t signed up to this iFollow as they have their own video platform, Fulham TV, which they are producing more and more content for and they want to increase the subscribers to that as much as possible.

There could be plans to stream games to overseas viewers, I’m just not sure when that would happen.”

What does the acquisition mean for the club?

Guido (he’s back again) asks: “What does the purchase of the BBC sports ground mean for the club”

Good question - it will allow Fulham to continue their growth which is vitally important for a football club.

This new land, which will be used in some way, shape or form for their training ground, coupled with the eventual redevelopment of the Riverside Stand will ensure Fulham continue to grow as a club, attracting both new fans and better players.

There’s no timescale on the development at Motspur, but it’s extremely good news for the club.”

Fulham acquire new land at Motspur Park

ICYMI, we revealed yesterday that the club had bought new land at Motspur to expand the training ground, which the club have confirmed today.

What do you make of the acquisition?

Where does Cairney's future lie?

Dave has asked: “After Jokanovic’s comments on Cairney, where do you see his future?”

Interesting question - Jokanovic has seemingly said that Fulham rejected a £20m bid for Cairney, which is a lot of money by anyone’s standards.

He seems intent on keeping him at the Cottage, and if the club are able to fend off bids like that for him then they’re in a good position to keep hold of him for next season.

My concern is that he will see he is 26 now, in the prime of his career, and that he will want a shot at the top flight now.

Perhaps he’ll stay another season and get there with Fulham - if he goes down that route and they fail again in the coming season then he will most definitely be off next summer.”

A question about pre-season

Alan asks: Is there any news on pre-seasons?

The club are currently finalising their plans for pre-season, so I would reckon they’ll be announced very shortly.

It has taken them a while to get confirmation of who they will be playing after the Play-off defeat, so it shouldn’t be too long!”

Colin Forknall asks on Twitter: “Have Fulham got an eye on any premier league players who have just been released?”

At the moment, no.

Those players who have been released will have their agents busy scurrying around trying to get them new deals, with a lot asking for huge sums of money that teams just won’t cough up.

I’d expect to see more movement on free transfers from the Premier League towards the start to middle of July.”

Where will Fulham finish next season?

Luke has asked for my prediction next season (Where do you think we will finish next season and who will be the star man?).

Oh boy.

Right, so I’m going to have to put my neck on the line here and answer this one so that in May everyone can find it and abuse my prediction for being so wrong.

If Fulham keep hold of Tom Cairney, sign two strikers and a new defender as well as Kalas, I think they can seriously challenge for automatic promotion.

I’m not sure if they can win it, simply because the attacking style of play Jokanovic likes leaves them open at the back, but there’s no reason why they can’t challenge up there, so I’m going to say second.

As for star man? Cairney if he stays, for obvious reasons, and Kevin McDonald if not.

I’m a huge fan of K-Mac and he is vital to the way Fulham play, binding the back four with Cairney, himself and Stefan Johansen.”

What is happening with Kalas and Piazon?

Jack Ennis asks: “Anything on whether Kalas and Piazon will be signing? Seems like both players wanted to.”

Fulham are still extremely interested in Kalas, but reports today have suggested Hull have entered the race for him.

He will most likely be leaving Chelsea this season as he only has a year left on his current deal and the club want to cash in, but whether or not he’ll be a Fulham man remains to be seen.

He wants to come back to the club, but it all depends on what kind of offers Chelsea receive for him.

Piazon, meanwhile, will probably be leaving too, but Fulham’s interest in him is slightly cooler than it is on Kalas, although if he was available for the right price they may be tempted.”

The latest on Sessegnon

Zack has asked about Sessegnon, saying: “What is the latest regarding Ryan Sessgnon?”

There’s not been much movement on Sessegnon - he’s still looking likely to join Tottenham and it looks to be a one horse race now.

Fulham still hope he’ll sign a contract at the club, but having been 17 for over a month now it looks worrying on that front.

He’s away with England now so it looks like it can drag on.”

The first question is in and it's about Jordan Hugill

Harris Shaikh asks: “Are the Jordan Hugill rumours real?”

At the moment, there is nothing concrete in those rumours.

He’s been linked with Wolves but at the moment everything is just speculation .

I think I saw on Twitter someone saying that he was set to sign for Fulham but that isn’t true.

The club have a scouting system set up across Europe where they assess the strength of the league against the player’s stats, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see some lads for the continent come over, as opposed to domestic signings.”

Welcome to our webchat

Welcome to the weekly Fulham webchat!

We’re getting underway in 15 minutes but you can send in your questions now for me to answer.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s quotes on Tom Cairney will be on the list today, I’m sure, as will Ryan Sessegnon’s future.
