Roy Hodgson believes it will be a 'wonderful point' if Fulham can get a draw at Manchester United tonight.

The Fulham boss insists miracles can happen, but is holding his breath Andy Johnson and Paul Konchesky pass late fitness tests.

The £12million striker and left-sided defender are carrying wear-and-tear muscle strains, but believes the two keepers on the Old Trafford pitch have a lot in common.

He said: "Players like Edwin van der Sar and Mark Schwarzer are both great shot-stoppers, but they bring more to the game. Their very presence in the box is a geat incentive to their defences."

Hodgson should be warned that if he's going for a post-match glass of wine, there's a fair chance Sir Alex Ferguson won't be handing out the good stuff.

The manager famed for his expansive collection got asked by then boss Chris Coleman, whether Fulham could have a couple of bottles for the journey back three seasons ago.

Certainly, said Sir Alex, and according to Cookie, walked past the glittering wine cabinet and pulled out a couple of bottles of house red from the cardboard box in the corner.
