Kit Symons could end up with two job offers after his sacking at Fulham in November.

The former Whites centre back turned manager, i s in line to take over the reins at demoted Charlton, but is torn by his loyalty for former Fulham buddy Chris Coleman in charge of Wales.

GetWestLondon understands the fly in the Dragon appointment is the poor wages paid by the Wales FA.

One of the major reasons Coleman has so far stalled on signing a new deal to take the country from this summer's Euros to World Cup 2018 is the paltry £200k per year he reportedly earns.

It places him 15th biggest earner on the list of teams headed for France, and in stark contrast to the near £4 million reportedly pocketed by another ex-Fulham boss Roy Hodgson in charge of England.

Symons is set to earn much less than Coleman if he steps back into the number two slot set to be vacated by another former Fulhamite. Paul Trollope is set to be named new Cardiff City boss, with current holder Russell Slade ready to move upstairs.

Symons was required to quit as Wales No2 last summer to concentrate on managing Fulham, but after losing that job is acting as Coleman's opposition scout for Euro 2016.

Wales will face England, Slovakia and Russia in their group in France this summer.
