Fulham’s boss admits he will tinker with team and formation until he comes up with a winning formula.
Fans have been baying for the new man in charge to make good use of Whites midfield and play 3-5-2 – and Jokanovic is ready to oblige as early as next Saturday against Hull.
On Saturday, at Huddersfield, the gaffer dropped Moussa Dembele, not because the teenage talent is in imminent danger of leaving, he claimed, but because three games in a week had weakened the middle third.
He explained: “We played a third game in a week. I expected we might be a bit weak in midfield, and I put one more guy there.
“3-5-2? Why not? It’s one of the options.
“My style has changed many times. I like to play like Barcelona, but that is not an option.
“One of these different options is to play 3-5-2. Any system depends on what you’re doing in the next game, and who is available to you.”
