All Kit Symons is saying to Seko Fofana is give us a goal.

In all other respects, the Fulham boss is more than happy with the Manchester City loanee, who made his 21st appearance as a 70th minute sub in the 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The 19-year-old has until the end of the season to break his duck after getting his initial loan extended. But goal or not, the Whites gaffer has ruled out a permanent move for the exciting midfielder.

“That’s not been spoken about,” explained Symons. “He’s their (Man City’s) player and they rate him very highly, and we’re thankful they did the loan deal with us.”

The Paris St Germain supporter was one of the few in west London delighted with the result from Stamford Bridge last Wednesday, and he will delight Symons all the more if he can finish off what he starts, starting at home to Leeds this Wednesday.

The manager added: “He’s done well since he’s been here. What he’s done is got himself in brilliant situations as a fantastic athlete. But the next step is to make one of these chances count as a goal.

Swing: Seko Fofana has a go

“Manchester City are fully aware of that. One of their guys was down the other day, and I was speaking to another on Wednesday. We’ve got really good contact with them.

"We all think he’s much better, better off having had this Championship experience.”
